Trade Board coordinates coworker shift trades in private iCloud-backed groups. It keeps open offers and pending trades visible, with a confirmation step before accepted changes are applied. Posting and group creation require Pro.
A personal calendar override answers what you are working. A coworker trade also needs to answer who offered the shift, who accepted, and whether the change is confirmed. Trade Board gives those stages a place beside the rota rather than leaving the agreement scattered across messages.
Join the intended group
Trade Board uses iCloud sharing for private group coordination. Supported flows include creating a group, joining by invitation link, switching groups and leaving. A working iCloud setup and network access are needed for the shared workflow.
Group creation requires Pro. Free users are limited to one joined group. Joining a group should be a deliberate sharing decision: review which group you are entering and the information you choose to post.
Post an offer with useful details
Pro enables posting a trade. Select the intended shift and check the date, profile and any requested return shift. Where a specific return is requested, the trade has two sides; do not assume any replacement date will satisfy it.
Keep notes relevant to the trade. A shared offer is not the place for confidential patient, client or employee information. Share only what coworkers need to coordinate the schedule.
Keep acceptance and confirmation separate
An open offer can move into a pending state after a coworker accepts it. Both the person who posted it and the person who accepted need to be able to see what is waiting. The original poster reviews the pending trade and confirms through the supported flow.
Do not treat a pending offer as a completed agreement. Check the final status and the resulting rota dates. Counter-offer support can help propose an alternative while retaining context from the original post.
Confirm the workplace process as well
Trade Board coordinates people using RotaFlow; it is not an employer rostering or approval system. A confirmed in-app trade may still require manager approval or another workplace procedure.
After confirmation, inspect both affected shifts and any associated reminders or calendar copies. The repeating pattern remains separate from these exceptions. If you previously shared an .ics snapshot, that file does not update by itself.
