Multiple schedule profiles: keep separate rotas without mixing them up

Learn how RotaFlow's schedule profiles let you keep separate personal schedules and switch between them without mixing time off, overtime, swaps, reminders, widgets, or Watch data.

Two rotas should not bleed into each other

Some shift workers juggle more than one schedule — a second job, agency work, or a household calendar. Schedule profiles keep each one separate, so switching between them never mixes time off, overtime, swaps, reminders, widgets, or Watch data.

What a schedule profile keeps separate

  • Time off, leave, and overtime records
  • Shift swaps and special days
  • Reminders and calendar sharing
  • Widgets and Apple Watch data

How switching profiles stays predictable

You keep separate personal schedules and switch between them with everything following the active profile. That means reminders, calendar sharing, widgets, and Apple Watch data track the profile you are viewing, and migrations respect the schedule you already built. If a cloud sync ever replaces the wrong rota, Sync Recovery saves a local safety snapshot so you can restore it from Settings.

Use profiles as clean boundaries, not extra work

Import a supported all-day .ics calendar into its own local profile, or add the active rota straight to Apple Calendar. The point is isolation: each schedule keeps its own context so a swap in one never leaks into the other. Think of a profile as a clean boundary rather than a second app.
