RotaFlow 3.10 adapts to iPhone Duo. Folded, the outer display works like a regular iPhone. Open, Today and Calendar split into side-by-side panes that stay clear of the fold, and tabs keep their place when you fold or unfold the device.
A foldable phone changes how much of your rota you can see at once. Folded, you want the next shift quickly. Open, there is room to see the week and plan around it. RotaFlow sizes its layout from the space each screen actually has, so the same rota reads well both ways.
Folded: your next shift at a glance
Folded, the iPhone Duo outer display works like a regular iPhone screen. Today shows your current shift and the next change, and Calendar shows the month with day cells sized for the width available.
Because layouts follow the available space rather than the device model, nothing is stretched or letterboxed. The same approach keeps RotaFlow tidy in iPad multitasking windows and iPhone Mirroring.
Open: two panes that stay clear of the fold
On the larger inner display in landscape, Today places your shift card and upcoming days beside the planning sections. Calendar shows the month beside the selected day’s agenda, so you can tap through dates and read the details without switching screens.
On iOS 27.1, these panes follow the iPhone Duo fold. When you hold the device like a book, each pane sits on its own side and no text or controls run across the crease.
Fold and unfold without losing your place
RotaFlow uses one adaptive tab layout instead of separate iPhone and iPad designs. When you fold, unfold or resize a window, each tab keeps its navigation and scroll position. On iPhone Duo, the system can also place the tab bar along the side.
Calendar day cells choose a roomy or compact style from their own width, so they stay readable in split panes and on the folded display. Toolbar items such as the calendar filter and the date jump carry a name as well as a symbol, so they still make sense on vertical bars and in the overflow menu.
Widgets in StandBy and Siri beside your rota
Home Screen widgets read correctly in StandBy on either display, and with the clear and tinted Home Screen styles. When the system removes the widget background, text switches to the standard system color and only the shift symbol keeps its color.
With Siri open beside RotaFlow on the inner display, Siri can see which rota day you’re viewing on Today or in Day Details, including its shift, working time and any special day. This uses onscreen awareness on iOS 18.2 and later, so you can ask about the day in front of you.
Feature FAQ
Does RotaFlow work on both iPhone Duo displays?
Yes. The outer display uses the regular iPhone layout, and the inner display adds side-by-side panes on Today and Calendar. Your rota, widgets and settings are the same on both.
Will text or buttons sit across the fold?
No. On iOS 27.1, the Today and Calendar panes follow the iPhone Duo fold, so text and controls stay on either side of the crease when you hold the device like a book.
Do I need Pro for the iPhone Duo layout?
No. The adaptive layout is part of RotaFlow for everyone. Pro still extends selected planning, widget and export features.
