Privacy in simple terms
What you need to know.
No tracking or analytics
We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Segment, or any third-party tracking tools. Period.
No ads, ever
RotaFlow is funded by app purchases and Pro subscriptions, not advertising networks or user data.
Your schedule stays on your device
Your shifts are stored locally by default. The app works completely offline without ever touching our servers.
Optional iCloud sync only
If you enable iCloud synchronization, your data syncs to your own Apple account—not our servers.
No third-party data sharing
We never sell, rent, or share your shift data with advertisers, data brokers, or other companies.
What information we collect
We minimize data collection intentionally.
No account required—we don't collect names, emails, phone numbers, or usernames.
No usage analytics—we never track how you use the app, which features you access, or when you open it.
No advertising identifiers—we don't use IDFA or any other tracking mechanism for ads.
Support data only when you contact us—and only what you choose to share.
How the app stores your data
Your shift schedule is yours and yours alone.
Local storage by default—all your patterns, special days, swaps, and earnings live on your device.
The app works offline—you can create patterns, view schedules, and manage shifts without internet.
Optional iCloud sync—if you enable it, your data syncs to your private iCloud account, encrypted by Apple.
We don't run servers storing your schedules—everything is device-first and privacy-first.
Website privacy
This website follows the same privacy principles as the app.
No web analytics—we don't use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or any other page tracking.
No advertising—we never track visitors for ad targeting or retargeting.
No cookies—we only process requests needed to load the site and serve pages.
No third-party integrations—no Stripe tracking, no Shopify analytics, no external vendor tracking.
Payment security
Purchases are handled by Apple, not us.
App Store processing—all Pro subscriptions and purchases go through Apple's secure payment system.
We never see payment details—no credit cards, no billing addresses, no payment data touches our systems.
Receipt verification only—we verify purchases through Apple's servers to confirm Pro access.
Your rights and choices
You have complete control over your data.
Disable iCloud sync anytime in Settings—your data stays on device, syncing stops immediately.
Delete data anytime—remove schedules from the app, or uninstall to clear all local data.
Request support deletion—contact us to delete any support emails you've sent.
No profiling—we never create user profiles, behavioral data, or predictive models based on your usage.
Policy changes—if we update this policy, we revise the date above and notify you of material changes.
